Plot and Basis of Fire Force Chapter 276
Fire Force is based on an incident that took place 250 years ago, 50 years before the Solar Year 0, named the Great Cataclysm. It is stated that the earth was set on fire during these years and that many nations were wiped off as a result. Even after it, there were only a few regions that could be inhabited. The survivors proceeded to Tokyo, which was relatively stable after the tragedy, even though many of its land masses had been wiped off as well.
Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic, is the protagonist of the novel. His name was Devils Footprints because he has the power to ignite his feet at his will. He was shunned as a child since he was blamed for the deaths of his mother and brother.
