Fortnite developed by Epic Games was released in 2017. The game is available in three distinct mode versions. Fortnite: Save the World, Fortnite Battle Royale, and Fortnite Creative.

Fortnite: Save the World
The players will be taking the role of commanders of home-based shelters, saving survivors and resource collectors.
Fortnite Battle Royale:
This game is a player v/s player game for almost up to a hundred players.
This is a game of sandbox mode and is similar to Minecraft. The players have the complete freedom to do everything, that is within the game on an island. They can create many games such as battle arenas, racecourses and more.
Battle Royale and Fortnite Creative are free to play, Save the World has to be paid for playing. The games are funded using V-Bucks.
Fornite: The most played game.
Save the World mode had more than one million players within months of its release. Fortnite Battle Royale also became a great success financially for Epic Games.
In March 2019, the game had 250 million registered players , whereas the number of registered players rose to 350 million in May 2020.

The number of players who play the game are going up day by day and it seems that, there will be no decrease in the number of people who play the game in coming future also. Fortnite will continue to be the biggest Battle Royale out there, as of now.
Epic Games separated the teams between both Save the World and Battle Royale to support these modes. Battle Royale is played by a number of celebrities, making it a cultural phenomenon.
The game was nominated for the Best Co-op Game by PC gamer and for Best Spectator Game by IGN. The game also won the Best Ongoing Game by PC gamer.
